Equatorial outflows driven by jets in Population III microquasars

چکیده

Binary systems of Population III can evolve to microquasars when one the stars collapses into a black hole. When compact object accretes matter at rate greater than Eddington rate, powerful jets and winds driven by strong radiation pressure should form. We investigate structure jet-wind system for model microquasar on scales beyond formation region. Using relativistic hydrodynamic simulations we find that ratio kinetic power between jet disk wind determines configuration system. is dominated wind, fills narrow channel, collimated dense outflow. dominates system, part its energy diverted turning quasi-equatorial flow, while widens. Numerical hydrodynamic simulations of molecular outflows driven by Hammer jets

Very young protostars eject collimated jets of molecular gas. Although the protostars themselves are hidden, some of their properties are revealed through the jet dynamics. We here model velocity shear, precession, pulsation and spray within dense jets injected into less-dense molecular clouds. We investigate the Hammer Jet, for which extreme velocity variations as well as strong ripping and sp...

Jovian Dynamics. Part III: Multiple, Migrating, and Equatorial Jets

Studies of the dynamical response of thin atmospheric layers overlying thick envelopes are extended to examine how multiple jets, such as those seen on Jupiter and Saturn, can be generated and maintained. The jets are produced by baroclinic instabilities and are examined numerically using a primitive equation model subject to simple heating functions. The motions are confined to a thin upper la...

Jets and environment of microquasars

Two relativistic X-ray jets have been detected with the Chandra X-ray observatory from the black hole X-ray transient XTE J1550-564. We report a full analysis of the evolution of the two jets with a gamma-ray burst external shock model. A plausible scenario suggests a cavity outside the central source and the jets first travelled with constant velocity and then are slowed down by the interactio...

On the Misalignment of Jets in Microquasars

We discuss the timescales for alignment of black hole and accretion disc spins in the context of binary systems. We show that for black holes that are formed with substantial angular momentum, the alignment timescales are likely to be at least a substantial fraction of the systems’ lifetimes. This result explains the observed misalignment of the disc and the jet in the microquasar GRO J 1655-40...

Magnetically Driven Accretion in the Kerr Metric III: Unbound Outflows

We have carried out fully relativistic numerical simulations of accretion disks in the Kerr metric. In this paper we focus on the unbound outflows that emerge self-consistently from the accretion flow. These outflows are found in the axial funnel region and consist of two components: a hot, fast, tenuous outflow in the axial funnel proper, and a colder, slower, denser jet along the funnel wall....
